ICT Directorate Office

ICT directorate office is a department within Dilla University that is responsible for all aspects of information and communication technology (ICT). This includes planning, implementing, and supporting the institutions’ IT infrastructure, as well as developing and managing IT policies and procedures. ICT directorate office provide support for the three core pillars of the institution which are academic teaching-learning, research and dissemination, and community service activities.
ICT Directorate office at Dilla University manage and administer network infrastructure, administer various systems, maintain computer equipment and provide technical support in the campus. The office also manages a number of Services, including the University’s institutional Email, Antivirus control, Official Websites, the Internet Connection service, and systems such as the Integrated Student Information Management System and online journal system. The office currently working on a number of projects to enhance the University’s ICT services and to support delivery of the University’s administrative and academic functions in line with the University’s ICT Strategy.
ICT directorate office deliver services by diving staffs in different operations teams. Regarding computing and technology-related concerns, the team serves as the primary resource for help and guidance for academic and administrative departments. The teams are organized under the following operational areas:
