The program also focuses on building capacity through training for the university community, enhancing internship and externship programs, and facilitating intellectual property rights management in collaboration with the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office. Establishing partnerships through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and identifying potential industry collaborators are crucial for effective technology transfer. Additionally, the initiative promotes joint research projects, organizes workshops and exhibitions to showcase innovations, and ensures the quality of internship programs aligns with strategic goals. Regular reporting and strategic planning are essential for assessing progress and reinforcing collaboration among various stakeholders, including academic staff and industry partners.
